City of Prince Rupert – CNR Station Renovation

Construction Management at Risk Services for the renovation of the 1922 CN Rail Station on Bill Murray Drive in Prince Rupert into a craft brewery and restaurant. Project required significant structural upgrades to update structure to current building code. Structural upgrades included new foundations to strengthen existing foundations and slab-on-grade, as well as extensive sub-structure installation for existing exterior masonry walls and roof systems. Complete new mechanical and electrical systems and full interior fitout for new restaurant, brewery and meeting spaces. The existing building was not categorized as “Heritage,” but the core purpose of the work was to maintain the existing structure and facade.
