Sea to Sky Power Corporation – Skookum Creek Project

The Skookum Creek Power Project constructed a 25mW Run-of-River Hydro Electric Power Station 15 kilometers east of Squamish, British Columbia. This power station provides clean sustainable energy to approximately 15,000 homes in the Sea to Sky corridor.  IDL participated as a Joint Venture partner, contributing expertise in civil, concrete, structural, mechanical, and management services.  The total volume of bulk excavations for the project was in excess of 3,000,000m³ through remote mountainous terrain.  IDL constructed the Powerhouse, Intake and High-Pressure anchor blocks for this project.
