City of Parksville – Springwood Reservoir Transmission Main

Supply and installation of 4.7km  of 600 diameter HDPE water main to deliver treated water from the new water treatment plant to the Springwood Reservoir. Alignment underneath existing pedestrian multi-purpose trail to minimize impact to existing infrastructure and included crossing of the Englishman River, multiple pipe bores underneath existing train tracks, drainage culverts,  retaining walls, rock blasting, import of pipe bedding and fill over pipe, tie into existing water reservoir, fire hydrants, valve assemblies, water main tie-ins, testing and disinfection and landscaping. Alignment included crossing the Englishman River.
