Mass Timber & Wood First
IDL has successfully completed numerous projects of the provincially mandated Wood-First Act and wood as the predominant architectural or structural elements. Our projects have included self-performed installations of Glulam, Laminated Veneer (LVL), Nail Laminated Timber (NLT), Dowel Laminated Timber (DLT), Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) and traditional heavy timber post and beam. We understand and respect the structural importance of the wooden members while appreciating the finished product’s natural beauty and architectural brilliance.
