Aboriginal Housing Society of Prince George – 1919 17th Avenue Aboriginal Housing
Phase 1 (Construction Management at Risk) – General Contract scope for the 5 new buildings and site development of the 1919 17th Ave Phase 1 project for AHSPG. Includes the development of 50 new units of affordable housing. Units are either 2 storey townhouses or stacked apartments. 55,000sf of new construction total.
Phase 2a – 4 storey wood framed housing complex for Aboriginal Housing Society of Prince George. This is a continuation of the multi-phased development on 17th Ave. This building will include 56 units of housing. Scope includes a combination of 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom units with a double elevator.
Phase 2b (Construction Management at Risk) – Renovation and addition creating a new childcare facility inside the existing building at 1919 17th Ave. Total renovation / addition area is 4,382ft2. Addition will be conventional steel structure on concrete foundation. Steel stud-infill and drywall. Project is a continuation of the master plan for the multi-phased 1919 17th Ave project. Funding provided by MCFD.
Phase 2c (Construction Management at Risk) – Renovation creating a community space within the existing building at 1919 17th Ave. Renovation includes updating the gathering area, creating a computer lab, café, reception and storytelling space. Total renovation / addition area is 7,080ft2.
Phase 3 (Design-Build) – 3 storey wood framed seniors housing complex for Aboriginal Housing Society of Prince George. This is a continuation of the multi-phased development on 17th Ave. This building will include 35 units of supportive seniors housing with a common area on L1. Scope includes commercial kitchen, office space and clinic space on L1. 35 accessible studio units.
