Majestic Management – Bank of Nova Scotia Exterior Façade Upgrade

The Bank of Nova Scotia is an existing 8 story, 100’ long x 80’ office tower in downtown Prince George. The project involved removing 17,000 square feet of existing tile façade using a swing stage system. A new exterior framework was installed allowing for 2” rigid insulation to be applied thus increasing the overall R value to the structure. Following that an engineered compressed sandstone rock façade was installed in 2’ x 1’ pieces using the same swing stage system. Each rock façade piece was subsequently caulked and sealed from the elements.
