BC Hydro – Capilano Substation Site Preparation

Survey and establish the utility alignments for construction, locate utilities in the area. Installation of watermain and sanitary sewer including fire hydrant and new manholes. Install water service, blow off, 1” yard hydrant, and complete tie-ins to existing utilities. Complete hydrostatic testing and disinfection of the watermain, and complete mandrel, CCTV and air testing of sanitary sewer and backfill trenches. Remove unsuitable materials in roadway, and repave road and laneway, complete with line painting. Fill and re-grade any areas disturbed during construction and hand seed. Dispose of excess materials and refuse.
