College of New Caledonia – PG Aboriginal Housing

A project a decade in the making to support the Province’s commitment to adopt and implement the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s (TRC) calls to action. 

Construction Management At Risk Project constructing 7,750 gross square foot of student housing for aboriginal students facility located on CNC’s Prince George Campus. 12 Student facility with on-site live in Elders Suite. Facility includes: shared main kitchen, living area and laundry facilities; a designated area for cultural practices, teachings and activities;  study space;  state of the art shared washroom facility between each student suite;  and extensive use of wood throughout the facility.  Building constructed to BC Building Code Step 4 Energy Code.
