City of Prince George – Cameron Street Bridge Replacement

Demolition of the existing Howe Truss bridge and construction of a new 4 span, 187 m long, steel girder, two lane bridge. The new bridge includes a 2.5 m wide sidewalk and utilizes the original pier structures. Bridge includes demolition and cast-in-place reconstruction of the top 1 metre of each of the pier caps. Project scope includes storm sewer additions, construction of a round-about at the north end of the bridge, signalization of an intersection on the south end, mass block and Allan block retaining walls, street lighting, curb and gutter and asphalt paving. Environmental management and traffic management are also important aspects of the project.
