City of Prince George – Twinning of Foothills Watermain

Construct of approximately 3.5km of water main and a new Booster Station Building as part of the City of Prince George’s Foothills Water Main Twinning Project. 

The work includes installing of 400 and 500 diameter cement lined ductile iron pipe, multiple line and air release valves, rigid board insulation above the water line, supply and install of a check valve vault,  removal/reinstalling asphalt to widen Foothills Boulevard to accommodate wider bike lanes.  

Booster Station Building included 4 vertical turbine pumps into cast in place water chamber, process piping, new backup generator, 2 concrete vaults and demolition of existing pump house structure.
